Community Dig in Leeds, 13-15 April 2013
As part of our 150th celebrations the YAS is working with the WEA to hold a weekend of community archaeology in the Little Woodhouse area of Leeds near the YAS’s headquarters at Claremont, Clarendon Road.
Join us for a weekend of community archaeology in association with the WEA Inclusive Archaeology Project. We will be opening a number of small trenches in the Little Woodhouse area of Leeds – come along and find out about surveying, excavation and artefacts.
Sat 13 April – surveying/preparing: 1-3pm Sun 14 April – the dig, 11am-3pm Mon 15 Apr – completing the dig and interpreting finds, 11am-3pm
