This will be a free workshop provided for local community groups. The aim is to help groups at all stages of a project from beginning to end, with expert advice from the Heritage Lottery Fund and a local commercial archaeology unit.
The content of the workshop will be delivered by a Development Officer from the HLF. The focus will be specifically on archaeological projects under £10,000 and how to put together a good HLF application. There will be an opportunity to discuss specific problems and queries encountered by community groups in the session. This will greatly benefit groups who have a good idea of a project they want to pursue.
It will be held at Archaeological Services WYAS, in the West Yorkshire Joint Services building in South Leeds. There is free parking and refreshments will be available. The workshop will be held on the 14th November 2014, 10.00am-12.30pm. Booking for this workshop is essential. If you are interested please contact Megan Clement at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0113 393 9748 and she will provide further information.
